Climate Toolbox
Have you considered how you can work with climate and sustainability in your organisation? Do you want to do something for the green agenda and are curious about how you can make your organisation green? Or maybe you have an international project where your partner is affected by climate change and would like to get tools and more knowledge on how to take climate action?
This toolbox brings together knowledge and tools for working with climate and sustainability initiatives in your organisation and in your international work. The toolbox will be continuously updated with resources and materials. You will also be able to find news and get inspiration from other organisations' climate and sustainability work and, not least, stay updated on opportunities to get involved in the fight for climate action with DUF.
The four climate tools
At DUF, we believe that young people's knowledge and competences in the field of climate and sustainability must be strengthened, and that it requires strong, committed communities with and by young people if we as a society are to find a solution to the climate and biodiversity crisis.
Therefore, our work to strengthen young people's ability to work together in committed communities to tackle climate challenges in Denmark and internationally is crucial.
To this end, DUF has developed four climate tools and a Little Green Guide to guide young people on how to address climate change and take action for the climate and biodiversity in their organisations and in international partnerships.
The tools are developed based on the three legs of the Change Triangle: children and youth activities, organisational development, and advocacy. The tools are developed with different purposes, but you can also approach them based on your motivation and curiosity, for example:
- If you want to strengthen your organisation's climate action, you can use the greening checklist and the climate capacity assessment tool.
- If you are working with your international partner to design a project, you can use the climate context analysis to explore how climate change affects your target group and your activities.
- It could also be that your organisation or partner has a burning climate issue that you want to raise awareness about or bring to the attention of decision-makers. Then you can use the climate advocacy tool.

The Little Green Guide
DUF has developed the Little Green Guide to inspire you on how to incorporate climate and sustainability initiatives into your projects and organisations. The guide also contains best practices from organisations that you can be inspired by, and at the back you will find a glossary of climate terms.
The guide is coming soon - stay tuned!
