DUF's international work
DUF supports international partnerships
DUF strengthens youth organizations and youth influence and promotes democracy as a way of life among young people by supporting equal partnerships between Danish youth organizations and youth organizations in countries on OECD's DAC-list.
The partnerhips between Danish youth and youth in partner countries help to develop democratic awareness and strengthen young people's participation in political life and society. These partnerships motivate young people to take responsibility and strenghtens the rights of young people.
DUF promotes dialogue and cross-political networks
DUF is committed to dialogue as a tool to enhance mutual understanding between young people across national borders and political assiliations. DUF's Ambassadors for Dialogue program and DUF's cross-political network between Danish and Egyptian youth politicians support broad, inclusive dialogue that breaks down barriers and creates stronger cooperation across political, religious and idelogical divides.
In addition DUF's partnership with YETT - Youth Empowerment and Transformation Trust in Zimbabwe strengthens youth organizations in Zimbabwe in order for them to work together on establishing a common youth agenda.
DUF's work is supported by Danida and by the Danish Arab Partnership Program.
