Personal data at DUF events
DUF often takes pictures at events and courses, which DUF uses for marketing materials, such as on the website, Facebook, Instagram, and possibly various brochures and leaflets. You will always be asked for your consent for this at the individual event before the photographer takes pictures or videos - so you have the opportunity to opt out. Pictures with offensive content are never used. You can always withdraw your consent afterwards - write to email@example.com or call 3929 8888, after which DUF will remove pictures and videos from the website and social media as soon as possible. However, please note that consent cannot be withdrawn for already distributed printed materials.
Sometimes, DUF forwards participant lists to other participants containing:
- The name of the participant
- The participant's workplace
- The participant's email address
- The participant's association membership
If you do not wish to be included in such a participant list, you must inform DUF at least 14 days before the start of the event at firstname.lastname@example.org.
