Nordic Youth Pool for Climate and Biodiversity
The pool supports young people in the Nordic Region who want to make a difference for the climate and biodiversity.
It contributes to young people's work to prevent climate change and protect biodiversity, while giving even more young people the opportunity to take leadership and get involved.
At the same time, new ties are created and strengthened between young people across the Nordic Region through joint engagement and partnerships.
How to apply
- Familiarize yourself with the pool's criteria here on the website – and read the official guidelines here
- Download the application form and fill it out (either by using this pdf file or this Word file).
- Fill out the online application module. Remember to attach your completed application form as a PDF.

Climate considerations and sustainability
We encourage you to incorporate climate considerations and sustainability in your project and application.
For example, you can think about how you travel, what materials you use and what food you eat.
If you want some inspiration, Danish ICYE has created this guide to climate-conscious travel.
This is not a requirement to apply for the pool.
About the Nordic Youth Pool for Climate and Biodiversity
The Nordic Youth Pool for Climate and Biodiversity is funded by the Nordic Council and the Nordic Council of Ministers.
DUF - Danish Youth Council manages and coordinates the pool and its steering group.
In addition to DUF, the steering group includes
